Read books, get freebies: If your kids can read — or if you read to them — you can be eligible for freebies around the area, or prizes depending on the summer reading program. For example, Champaign Public Library has all kinds of things (there are always lots of coupons for free food in Champaign-Urbana) on the docket for this year’s prizes.

2. Free movies (during the day): Savoy 16 is bringing back free movies during the day this summer and now showing TWO movies on TWO screens.
