Freeport golf outing accepting reservations
Freeport College Club will sponsor a golf outing June 17 at Birdsfoot Golf Course, 225 Furnace Run Road, South Buffalo.
The event will be a 4-man scramble and a shotgun start will be at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $90 per golfer and includes cart, hot dog lunch, drinks and catered dinner. There will be skill games and raffles. Non-golfers are welcome to attend the dinner for $25.

Free kids meals available in Tarentum
Central Presbyterian Church, Tarentum, will host a free children’s lunch program weekdays through Aug. 12 at the church, 305 Allegheny St.
Breakfast will be served from 9 to 10 a.m. and lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Activities will be offered between meals. No reservations are required. Food must be eaten onsite; no grab-and-go meals will be available.
Free concert planned Friday in Freeport park
Freeport Renaissance Association will present acoustic guitar duo Louie Castle in a free concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Riverside Park.
Food and drinks will be available. Bring a lawn chair.
Disc golf tournament to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Association
Patty’s Longest Day singles disc golf tournament to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association will be from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 18 at Deer Lakes Park.
Check-in and snacks will begin at 8 a.m. at the upper shelter near the Hole 8 tee….
