Learn to swim at MCC
Montcalm Community College offers several types of swimming lessons this fall, including group and private lessons, for varying age and skill levels. All swim lessons are taught by MCC instructors who are American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructors. The next group of lessons meet one time per week for six weeks and run Aug. 31 through Oct. 5. A second session is slated to meet one time per week for six weeks from Oct. 12 through Nov. 16. MCC is closed for Labor Day
Montcalm Community College is closed Sept. 3-5 for Labor Day. This includes the college’s Sidney and Greenville campuses as well as its recreation facilities. No classes are scheduled Sept. 3-6.
MCC nature trails walk and work session
Join Montcalm Community College Biology Instructor Heather Wesp on Sept. 15 from 6 to 7 p.m. for an informative and fun walk on the Kenneth J. Lehman Nature Trails on MCC’s Sidney campus. Learn about local plants, animals, and ecology. Your interest and questions drive the class, which meets rain or shine. All ages are welcome. Meet in Room A138 in the Stanley P. Ash Building on MCC’s Sidney campus. We’ll be cleaning up Wood Duck Trail during the September walk; feel free to bring hand-trimmers and gloves.
