• Plymouth is home to one of the largest parks in the Twin Cities metro area. The Elm Creek Park Reserve covers over 4,900 acres and offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, skiing and snowboarding. The park also has a swimming pond, a nature center and a disc golf course.
• Plymouth is a great place to get outdoors and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. In addition to the Elm Creek Park Reserve, the city also has several other parks and lakes where you can go fishing, boating or simply take a stroll. Some popular spots include Medicine Lake, Parker’s Lake and French Regional Park.
• Plymouth is home to the Millennium Garden, a beautiful public garden located near the Plymouth Creek Center. The garden features a variety of flowers, plants and sculptures and is a popular spot for weddings and other special events.
• The Plymouth Ice Center is a premier ice skating and hockey facility that has hosted numerous tournaments and competitions over the years. In addition to ice skating and hockey, the center also offers figure skating lessons, curling and broomball.
• The Hilde Performance Center is an outdoor amphitheater that hosts concerts and events throughout the summer. The venue has a 45-foot tall open-air facility and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and walking paths.
• Plymouth is home to several annual events that draw visitors from across the region. These include the Plymouth Fire & Ice Festival, which features ice sculptures and fireworks.
• The Plymouth Farmers Market is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. The market features a variety of vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, artisan crafts and more. It is open on Wednesdays from June through October.
