HARBOR SPRINGS, MI – The Highlands at Harbor Springs is offering a couple vacation deals for summer that cater to people who love to spend their time in wide open spaces with great Up North views, and a big selection of on-site activities.
The Highlands is part of the Boyne Resorts family, and it’s the company’s northernmost property in Michigan. Its proximity to Harbor Springs and Petoskey means there are always day-trip adventures to be had. But The Highlands also offers such a huge on-site roster of activities that many guests just stay and play.
This summer’s activity list includes mountain biking, horseback riding, zip lines, chairlift rides, Segway tours, disc golf, hiking, swimming, s’mores and outdoor movies.
As part of the resort’s long-term plan, guest rooms in its Main Lodge have been recently renovated.
Also this summer, guests will have a chance to see a bit of ski history being built. Construction crews are working on installing the Camelot 6. It will be the first six-person Bubble Chairlift in the Midwest – offering riders a 3-minute trip up the slopes enclosed in a heated, weatherproof bubble that has extra-wide seats and individual footrests.
