Bramble Ramble is Sept. 24 at MCC

The Montcalm Community College Nature Trails Committee’s 7th annual Bramble Ramble 5K Trail Run/Walk and 4th Annual Mike Seaman Memorial 10K Run is Sept. 24 on the college’s Sidney campus. The 10K begins at 9 a.m., the 5K for walkers begins at 9:15 a.m. and the 5K for runners begins at 9:30 a.m. Registration after Sept. 2 is on-site the day of the race and is $30 per person or $45 for a family. Register now for MCC’s Alumni & Friends Choir

Rehearsals for Montcalm Community College’s Alumni & Friends Choir begin Oct. 1. This is a community and student non-audition choir that welcomes everyone, high school age and above, who has an interest in singing in a choral group. Rehearsals are on Saturdays from Oct. 1 through Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon in room A129 in the Stanley and Blanche Ash Technology and Learning Center (Ash TLC) on MCC’s Greenville campus. The fall 2022 “All That Jazz” concert is Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. in the Activities Building on MCC’s Sidney campus. Admission to the concert is free. The cost to participate in the choir is $15 person. Learn to swim at MCC

Montcalm Community College offers several types of swimming lessons this fall, including group and private lessons, for varying age and skill levels. All swim lessons are taught by MCC instructors who are American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructors. The next group of lessons meet one time per week for six weeks and run from Oct. 12 through Nov. 16. Advance registration is required….
