FREELAND, MI – There is plenty to do for everybody at the Freeland Walleye Festival.
On Friday, community garage sales were held, the Anderson Midway Carnival rides were open, the Walleye Festival Parade navigated a new route and much more.

The fun continues through the weekend with the walleye fishing tournament, a car show, youth cornhole tournament, carnival rides, beer pong tournament, disc golf tournament and pancake breakfast, among other fun events.
The walleye fishing tournament officially begins at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, and final weigh-in takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Hayes Park (Tittabawassee Township Park).
