When: 11 a.m. Monday
Details: Retired Major General Joanne Sheridan of The Villages will be the keynote speaker. General Sheridan served 35 years in the United States Army in various command and staff positions. Additionally, she was deployed in “Support of Operation Iraqi Freedom” in 2008.
Leesburg
Where: AMVETS Post 2006, 500 N Canal Street
When: 1 p.m. Monday
Details: Join the. For a Memorial Day service at the post followed by activities and a cookout.
Eustis
Where: Ferran Park, 250 Ferran Park Drive

Details: The American Legion Post 41 in partnership with the City of Eustis, will host a Memorial Day Service to honor our nation’s fallen and pay homage to local service members. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

Details: A special ceremony will take place with a lite lunch served after at the American Legion Post 219 for all attendees.
