■Supervisors of the Checklist will hold Voter Registration on Aug. 31 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Allenstown Town Hall.
■The Suncook Senior Center will hold an Affordable Hearing on Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. which is a free hearing test and or a free cleaning for your hearing aides. Please sign up at the center or call (603) 485-4254.
■The Suncook Senior Center activities: Bone Builders (9 to 10 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays), Bingo (10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays), Cribbage (10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays), Arts and Crafts (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays), and Klunk (12:30 to 2 p.m. on Thursdays).
■There is still time to sign up for the Suncook Senior Center Fall Foliage Trip to Vermont with lunch at the New England House and a tour and show at the Friesians of Majesty, on Sept. 27 for $118 per person. Price includes: transportation, lunch, dining room taxes and gratuities, visit to the farm with tour and show, and driver’s gratuity of $1. ■Chichester Central School Nurse Mrs. Strazerri issued a reminder that the Department of Health and Human Services set standards of immunizations and all students entering 7th Grade are required to have a one-time dose of the Tdap vaccine. In order for your child to attend the first day of school on Aug. 29, proof of immunization needs to be on file with the school. ■Thank you Chichester’s Dell-Lea Wedding and Events for giving a smile to Epsom Nursing Home residents. Brides and grooms often donate their wedding flowers and Dell-Lea deliver them to the nursing home.
■BCEP Solid Waste District will have its monthly meeting on Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. at the facility. Richard Bouchard is the Board of Selectmen representative from Chichester.
■The Library “Down Under Bookstore” will be having a book sale on Aug. 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Little Book House located at Carpenter Park and Town Hall is full of books for all ages. Take a book bring a book.
