Disc golf tournament to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Association
Patty’s Longest Day singles disc golf tournament to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association will be from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 18 at Deer Lakes Park.
Check-in and snacks will begin at 8 a.m. at the upper shelter near the Hole 8 tee. Golfers will move to their starting tee at 9:10 a.m. and the round will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The entry fee is $30 and includes snacks, a player pack and a raffle ticket. The event is sponsored by Innova Champion Discs and Throw Pink. To register and for more information, visit: tinyurl.com/2hzzyee8.
Highlands parade to honor Class of 2022
The community is encouraged to turn out for the Highlands High School Senior Parade at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Natrona Heights, Harrison.
The parade route has been expanded since last year. The parade will start in the high school parking lot and go right on Pacific Avenue, left on Montana, right on Broadview Blvd., right on Municipal Drive to Park Avenue, left on Municipal Drive, left on Broadview Blvd, left on Ohio Avenue, left on Atlantic Avenue, left on Argonne Drive, right on 12th Avenue, left on California Avenue, right on Pacific Avenue and then back to the school lot.
The traditional “Chalk the Walk” event will begin at 4 p.m. and a DJ and food trucks will be from 4 to 7 p.m., all at the high school.

Wednesday: Al-Anon will meet at 8 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 847 10th Ave. The group offers help and hope for families and friends of alcoholics.
