2022 PDGA World Championships
The top disc golfers from across the globe competed last week in the 2022 Professional Disc Golf World Championships. Team Innova had athletes in both divisions in contention for the win until the very end. We had four MPO players and five FPO players finish in the top 10. Henna Blomroos took 2nd place in FPO!
The FPO champion, Kristan Tattar, became the first European to win a World title since 2004 and the MPO champion, Paul McBeth, became the second winningest player in PDGA Worlds history. Gstar and Champion Hawkeyes
One of our straightest flying, easiest to control Fairway Drivers now comes in two additional premium plastics.
The Champion Hawkeye offers exceptional glide with a bit more fade than our Star model. Beautifully clear and extremely durable, the Champion Hawkeye will be a workhorse in your bag through countless rounds without significantly changing flight characteristics.
The GStar Hawkeye offers outstanding grip without sacrificing durability. It has excellent glide and a consistent, mellow fade. Predictable, stable, and grippy, the GStar Hawkeye is one of our best choices for new players. This flexible blend is also perfect for colder weather when other plastics become too stiff. Experience the precision and extended glide of the Hawkeye in the plastic that feels best to you.
Innova Jay and Pterosaur:
Innova has two new models taking to the skies in the coming weeks!
The Innova Jay is a beadless midrange with a neutral, straight flight. This all-purpose disc can handle power or be finessed. For players looking to carry fewer molds, the Jay fills many slots in your bag. The lower-profile, beadless design fits comfortably in your hand. We predict the Jay will become a staple in many players’ bags.
The Innova Pterosaur is our latest high speed driver. More stable than a Shryke, with more glide than a Destroyer, the Pterosaur is for power S-curves and big hyzers. For players with serious arm speed, the Pterosaur is ideal for on-course max distance. Look out for a wide-release coming soon!
