Since the Natchez Trace Parkway runs through the park, it’s a popular stop off for folks taking this historic scenic drive.

Many of the original structures, like the cabin pictured above, can still be viewed. Don’t worry, more modern cabins have since been constructed.

These rock formations make the park appealing to rock climbers, too!

They vary in difficulty and length, but they’re all under three miles long.

Pictured above is what’s called a Trail Tree. You may have seen them before, but it’s believed that these trees were bent by Native Americans as a trail marker and a way to show safe passage.

The 45-acre lake is a prime spot to do a little fishing.
